Yonkers firefighters are remembering a fallen colleague they say died as a result of injuries he sustained in department training earlier this year. Yonkers firefighter Antonio Rodriques, a 12-year veteran of the department, died Tuesday evening at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. Fire officials recognized Rodriques’ death as a “line-of duty death,” and said he was hospitalized as a result of injuries he sustained in May during department training.
