According to the Arkoma Police Chief, three children were killed in an early morning mobile home fire Wednesday morning (Oct. 19).
Neighbors said it happened around 4 a.m. on Lowery Street.
"I saw the fire starting on the front porch of the trailer," said neighbor Rick Deguzman. "I immediately rushed upstairs and got my mother. We called 911 dispatch and they connected us to the Arkoma dispatcher, which then pushed out the call," Deguzman added.
The state medical examiner and fire marshal are on scene as well as the Arkoma Police Department and Arkoma Fire Department. The state medical examiner will take the bodies to Tulsa for further examination.
