Ohio firefighter hit by vehicle during ‘Fill the Boot’ campaign

A Columbus firefighter was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle while participating in a “Fill the Boot” event. According to the Columbus Division of Fire, the firefighter suffered a broken leg after being hit by a vehicle at High Street and North Broadway while standing in the road participating in the “Fill the Boot” campaign. The firefighter was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
