Police are looking for a gunman after a Charleston ambulance was hit by gunfire Tuesday morning. Charleston Police say medics responded to a call around 2:50 a.m. for a man with leg pain near Central Avenue and Vine Street. Police say after the ambulance arrived, shots rang out and that the person in need of medical attention ran and took cover. The ambulance also left the scene. No one was injured in the attack. "Brazen and reckless and dangerous," Lt. Steve Cooper, Chief of Detectives says. "Shocking that someone like a paramedic ... their sole task is to help people They risk life and limb every day."
