Funeral arrangements have been made for the Philadelphia Fire Department lieutenant who died Saturday after being trapped under rubble and debris while battling a blaze that engulfed a two-story North Philadelphia rowhouse. The department announced Monday that viewings for Lt. Matthew LeTourneau will be held from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul at 18th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Friday at the cathedral. LeTourneau will be buried at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Marple Township, Delaware County.
