The assistant fire chief at the Kanosh Fire Department was charged with repeatedly sexually assaulting a firefighter under his command in Millard County for the past three years. Austin Corry, 26, appeared in 4th District Court in Provo on Thursday afternoon, facing two counts of rape and two counts of object rape, all first-degree felonies. He is also charged with five counts of forcible sexual abuse, second-degree felonies, and five counts of sexual battery, class A misdemeanors. Deputies with the Utah County Sheriff's Office arrested Corry in August after a woman reported Corry had sexually assaulted her several times while they were working together as firefighters in Kanosh, Millard County. The woman told police the first sexual assault happened in 2015 at the fire station where Corry was assigned as her supervisor.
