Capital City Fire Rescue responded to a boat fire in the Valley Sunday morning around 5:30. The Bayliner boat was in a back yard in the 4000 block of Conifer Lane. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a Bayliner boat in the a back yard completely engulfed in fire. Personnel quickly extinguished the fire. There were no reported injuries. It is unknown if the boat is insured. The fire marshal's office conducted a fire origin and cause investigation. At this time the cause is undetermined.
