PHOTO - Anchorage firefighters pulled two people out of a serious car crash near the Government Hill bridge on Thursday morning. Two adults were inside a car that was resting on its front fender under the onramps on the Government Hill side. Both appeared conscious when rescuers removed them from the car, and they were taken to the hospital. Police said the car hit a construction worker's parked car near the entrance to the bridge as it was headed southbound to enter the bridge. It hit a guardrail and may have gone airborne, then went down an embankment and ended up in that position, according to two officers at the scene.
