A house fire erupts in bear valley from an alledged unattended chimney fire. Anchorage firefighters responded to the scene on the 7900-block of Susan Circle, when the fire brokeout around 2:30 today. Neighbors rushed to call 9-1-1 and noticed no one was home. Authorities say no one was injured but eye-witness sources say animal control did remove several dead rabbits from the home. It's unclear where the fire originated from at this time. Due to the location of the home, the Anchorage Fire Department faced several challenges extinguishing the flames, taking almost 2 hours due to the limited number of fire hydrants in the area. Firefighters filled up with water at Goldenview Middle School.
