A small travel trailer on a property in Nikiski was destroyed in a fire Thursday afternoon. Firefighters received a report of the fire, which took place on a property on Redoubt Drive near Miller Loop Road, just after 1 p.m., Bud Sexton, public information officer for the Nikiski Fire Station, said.
The trailer was fully engulfed in flames by the time firefighters arrived on the scene.
Sexton said it took firefighters about 20 minutes to put out the trailer, which was a total loss.
