Two people were injured in an East Anchorage fire Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
A fire at the Malaspina Mobile Home Park, at 1545 Hoyt St., was called in to the Anchorage Fire Department at 1:56 p.m., said Jodie Hettrick, deputy chief of operations for the department.
The fire was under control sometime before 3:20 p.m., Hettrick said.
Two people were taken to the hospital, but officials didn't yet know the extent of their injuries.
Firefighters remained on the scene Wednesday afternoon, investigating the origin and cause of the fire, Hettrick said.
