For the past two years, Gadsden firefighters worked to bring the Lower Alabama Pink Heals Chapter’s vehicles to Etowah County, to spark hope and inspiration in cancer patients, and to kindle a sense that someone cares for them and supports them in their battle.
The chapters’ bright pink vehicles visited cancer patients at their home and on their jobs, giving them a chance to add their names to the hundreds who have signed the trucks.
