Mobile Fire-Rescue is investigating the circumstances of a Thursday afternoon fire they say began after a mother-daughter domestic dispute.
MFR received the call that reported the fire just around 3:50 p.m. The scene, located on the 300 block of Burton Avenue, was filled with heavy smoke and fire.
The fire was set when a mother and daughter engaged in an argument, investigators say. The mother had left the scene before the fire started.
According to officials, 24-year old Tronisha Ellis confessed to setting fire to her mother's home. She has been charged with second-degree arson.
