The National Park Service requests people to drive with their headlights on and use caution when driving on Highway 35. The area of Little River Falls from Highway 176 to Blanche at Highway 273 was closed at 10 a.m. several hours on Sunday following a wildfire that began on Saturday. The wildfire has consumed more than 300 acres in Martha's Falls and County Road 861 just south of the highway. Officials are not sure at this time how much of the fire is contained. Officials said they believe illegal campers made a campfire that got out of control.
