A house-sized shed in Ashford is in rubble this afternoon, after a burn pile got out of control. Ashford firefighters were called to a home on Ebeneezer Road at around 12:30pm.
They say a pile of trash was left unattended near the shed and two fuel tanks.
One of the fuel tanks ruptured but fire fighters were able to save the second one.
Chief Bill Thomas says, "We'll I'd just like to stress to everybody that, you know if you're going to start a fire don't leave it unattended. Dry conditions you know... be careful when you're burning and make sure you don't leave it unattended cause it can get away from you real fast cause this is what can happen".
