An ongoing discussion about fire Chief Mike Platts continued Monday during an Argo work session/council meeting that lasted two and a half hours. The majority of the council meeting was spent talking about Platts and whether he should be full time, part time, should he be given more money, or should he be fired? Should he be allowed to continue working for Argo in a part-time position if he continues to work full time for the Homewood Fire Department? Does Mayor Betty Bradley have a vendetta against Platts?
