The house fire that killed one man this weekend is thought to have been accidental.
Scott Pilgreen, Alabama's State Fire Marshal could not say the exact cause of the blaze, but believes no "foul play" was involved.
"The cause is still to be determined, but we believe it to be accidental. Foul play is not suspected," Pilgreen said.
The victim, an adult male, has not been identified by officials. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is making sure all family members are aware of the death before a formal announcement is made.
