Cedar Bluff, Gaylesville and Centre Firefighters were called to the scene of a mobile home fire at a location off of Highway 9 North in Cedar Bluff just before 7:00 p.m. on Thursday night. Fortunately it appeared that no one was living at the home at the time of the fire, firefighters were able to quickly bring the blaze under control within a matter of minutes. The home did suffer extensive fire, smoke and water damage in the kitchen area. Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were called to the scene. An investigation is under way as to how the fire started.
