Saturday, was just like any other day at Station 25, but for firefighters Tim Kennedy and Tommy Carter, it would be a day they would never forget.
"I woke up, got ready for work, and I stood in front of the sink and thought to myself, what does today hold for us?" Carter said. "What are we going to run into today? Yesterday did not disappoint."
Late in the morning, a call came in of a man having chest pains. Kennedy and Carter responded to the call. When they arrived, Carter said he noticed that the lawn of the house was halfway cut. The man told Kennedy and Carter that he was in the middle of cutting his lawn when he started having chest pains, and while on the way to the hospital, the man said he was really wanting to get his lawn done before the weather turned for the worst.
