Eighteen of Mobile's firefighters received awards for their life-saving reactions while working a house fire on April 6th, 2018, according to a press release from the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department. You can read it in full below: Another honorable mention is little hero Raymond. He was playing outside when he spotted the home engulfed in flames. He immediately ran inside to alert adults. On April 6, 2018, Engines 14, 12, and 21, along with Rescue 14, Truck 17, and District 1 Chief were dispatched for a residential fire located in the 1900 block of Seale Street. Rescue 14 arrived on scene and reported a one story, wood-frame, residential structure with heavy smoke and flames visible.
