One person was killed and two suffered burns in a residential fire on Canterbury Road in Daphne early Tuesday morning, according to the Daphne Fire Department.
As well, a firefighter was injured, said Daphne Fire Chief Bo White.
Witnesses told FOX10 News it was an adult woman who died.
White said firefighters arrived on scene around 2:30 a.m. to find the home fully engulfed in flames. The houses on either side of the fire-gutted residence suffered damage as well, he said.
