Mobile Fire-Rescue Department crews responded to an early morning house fire Tuesday in the 1500 block of Robert E. Lee Street. Firefighters were still on the scene at 5 a.m. after having extinguished the blaze. FOX10 News was told a man and his young son live at the home and made it out safely. We're told their dog woke up the father, who was able to grab his son and run to a neighboring home for help. Their home is a total loss, we've learned.
