A death investigation is underway in Macon County after a body was discovered Monday morning in a burned-up camper. Sheriff André Brunson said that foul play is currently not suspected. However, the State Fire Marshal’s office has been called to investigate. Sheriff Brunson said the man was located in a camper-like structure along 29 South. The case is under investigation.
