VIDEO: Firefighters responded to an apartment fire in Homewood Monday afternoon. The incident happened in the 1500 block of 29th Court S. The Homewood Fire Department asked that people avoid the area while firefighters worked to extinguish the fire. The fire department said no injuries were reported, but cats were rescued and were taken to a veterinarian.
