Firefighters tell our reporter Jonathan Rozelle that the fire is out, but it left behind several acres of charred forest. Firefighters say they were called to this community - just outside of Malvern - around 1pm today. They say embers from a nearby burn pile set the forest on fire, but the problem is they are not sure who was using the burn pile. Firefighters from 4 different volunteer fire departments had it out in about 3 hours. A man told our reporter this all took place on his family's property, but several of his neighbors' homes and animals were in the fires path. He says his family had just landed at the Clinton Airport in Little Rock when a neighbor told him firefighters were battling the fire in front of his home.
