The Ben and Jenny Lynn Sewell residence, 3610 Columbia 7, was destroyed by fire on Saturday night. The Emerson Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the scene when a neighbor discovered that the brick home was fully engulfed in flames about 7 p.m. Emerson firefighters were assisted by the 79 South and Walkerville volunteer fire departments. No injuries were reported.
