Residents within the Dover city limits could notice a significant decrease in homeowner's insurance premiums in the new year because of an improved ISO rating according to a statement released recently by Dover Fire Chief Tristan Teague.
Teague said the Insurance Services Organization (ISO), a private organization evaluating preparedness systems nationwide, completed its comprehensive review of the city's fire department, communications system, and water supply and improved its rating from a Class 4 to a Class 3 ranking.
