Russellville: Several fire departments battle blaze consuming motor home

Just after 3:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, January 16, several fire departments responded to a report of a structure fire located near the 1400 block of East Gum Street. The 911 caller reported to dispatch that a motor home parked behind the residence at the address was on fire. After speaking to the caller, dispatch learned that a second structure was possibly being threatened after being told the motor home was located next to a large shop. Dispatch requested the response the Crow Mountain Department and also requested the response of Russellville Fire Department’s Engine 3 and Battalion 1, Moreland Fire Department, Linker Mountain Fire Department and Martin Township Fire Department per auto aid agreement.*
