Beaver Lake volunteer firefighters responded to a power pole on fire at the intersection of Dutchmans Drive and Williams Road in Rogers. The call came in just before 6:40a.m. Firefighters have taken Dutchmans Drive down to one lane around the affected area. The fire has been extinguished and there were no injuries or damage to nearby property. Firefighters on-scene are awaiting the arrival of Carroll Electric to assess the situation. They will determine if service interruptions are required. We’ll continue to update this story as we learn more.
