A 52-year-old Placentia, Calif., man had his right leg amputated below the knee in a boating accident with a propeller Saturday afternoon at Lake Havasu State Park. He was later listed in critical condition. The emergency call came in at 2:34 p.m. from the Windsor courtesy dock north ramp that a man had lost his leg in a boating accident. Lake Havasu City Fire Department and Mohave County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. The 42-foot twin engine Fountain boat operated by Glenn Hatch of Anaheim Hills, Calif., was pulling up to dock and drop off passengers when the accident happened, said Trish Carter, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.
