Lake Havasu City Police Department traffic investigators said two individuals were transported with non-life threatening injuries after a local driver crossed the center line of traffic and crashed head-on into a parked car Monday. The driver’s vehicle rolled three-quarters of the way, and a pedestrian flew at least 15 feet, police said. The crash occurred at 12:46 p.m. in the 1000 block of Avalon Avenue when 20-year-old Corey Williams, of Havasu, who was traveling northbound on Avalon in a silver-colored 2004 Toyota Corolla S, suffered an unknown medical condition causing him to black out.
“(Williams) went left of center, there was no braking at the time of impact,” said Sgt. Keith Huskisson, of the police department.
