VIDEO: A well-known saloon in Cave Creek caught fire and burned to the ground on Thursday. Over 100 firefighters from various agencies responded to the Buffalo Chip Saloon near Cave Creek Road and Tom Darlington Drive. ABC15 video and viewer video showed heavy flames and smoke coming from all parts of the building leaving behind a charred structural shell. A message posted on the saloon's website said it was temporarily closed. "Pray for the Buffalo Chip Family. Staying together. We will do our best to take care of everyone," the message read. Rural/Metro responded to a report of a haze in the bathroom during the early morning hours. Hours later, crews were called again. No injures have been reported, but the building is a total loss, per officials. The fire is considered to be "suspicious." No suspects have been identified in the suspected arson, officials said.
