The body of William Kenneth Darrow was discovered about 4:30 p.m. by a jogger near El Valle and Abrego Drive, just north of Esperanza Boulevard, according to the Pima County Sheriff's Department. The body was about 100 yards west of Abrego in a wash about 10 feet deep. Darrow's mother contacted the Sheriff's Department on Nov. 25 to conduct a welfare check on her son because she had not heard from him in two days. Deputies went to the home in the 300 block of South Abrego and found the door open but nobody home. Homicide detectives were at the scene Monday night along with Green Valley Fire District personnel.
