A motorhome fire broke out on Fortuna Palms Loop shortly after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Rural Metro personnel arrived on scene and quickly went to work to extinguish the fire. Neighbors and Yuma County Sheriff's Office used garden hoses until we got on scene, said Charly McMurdie with the Rural Metro Fire Department. When the fire was completely extinguished, the fire Marshal investigated and found out that the fire was started in the area of the refrigerator. All occupants were evacuated and no injuries were reported.
