The community of Yarnell experienced another raging fire Thursday night when a house in the 22000 block of Lakewood Drive was destroyed in a short period of time. The fire occurred just before 8 p.m. Deputies arrived on the scene within moments and found the home fully engulfed. The residents of the home, Larry and Kay Perdue, were able to evacuate safely. Despite high winds and the fire moving into the surrounding grass and trees, the nearby homes were kept safe and the fire was contained. Fire fighters responded from Yarnell, Congress, Peeples Valley and Wickenburg.
