Firefighters from the Gilbert and Mesa fire departments are heroes -- especially Tuesday night in eyes of a little dog named Molly. According to a Facebook post from the Gilbert Fire Department, a Gilbert resident called 911 after smelling smoke and hearing smoke alarms coming from their neighbor's home. The neighbor was not home at the time. Gilbert fire, with help from Mesa fire crews, was able to stop the flames preventing a total loss. Gilbert fire called it a "hidden fire in the attic." Crews were able to rescue a little dog named Molly from the home.
