The Bullhead City Fire District’s $16.7 bond issue moved closer to reality on Wednesday as updated results from the Mohave County Elections Department still showed the measure passing by a 166-vote margin. The margin was the same as it was Tuesday night — Election Day for the mail-only vote on the bond issue that was the only measure facing Bullhead City voters. The vote totals changed but did not affect the margin, according to the Election Department’s website. As of 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, 3,102 voters favored the bond issue while 2,936 opposed it. There were 6,038 valid ballots out of 6,060 cast. Turnout was placed at 26.9 percent of the district’s 22,516 registered voters.
