VIDEO: As California is being hit with out-of-control wildfires, northern Arizona has one fire that has been burning for days and smoke that can be seen for miles. The 33 Springs Fire started Oct. 6 when lightning struck a tree near Leonard Canyon in the Forest Lakes area and is still at zero percent containment. As of Tuesday night about 1,500 acres had burned. Approximately 100 firefighters are fighting the fire but because fire season was winding down and the fires in California, resources were not easy to come by. "Resources are somewhat scarce now due to what's going on in California and time of year," said Christopher Ruff, an incident commander Type 3 trainee.
