The Hellsgate Fire District sent a crew to Napa, Calif. Wednesday to help fight the numerous forest fires in the area, said Fire Chief John Wisner.
The crew includes Capt. Bob Eavenson, engineer Brian Wiggins and firefighter Dustin Marsh.
The men took the district’s compressed air foam engine, which is useful to snub out hot spots and cover structures with a foam coating to protect them before a fire hits.
