A 37-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of arson following a Phoenix condominium fire early Tuesday, Phoenix police said. Tameika Austin is accused of setting fire to items in her condo near 35th and Glendale avenues around 5 a.m., police said. The damage was contained to her unit, but units next to hers were evacuated as crews extinguished the fire. Austin was booked on one count of arson of an occupied structure, Phoenix police said. She was detained early Tuesday as a person of interest. No further details were immediately available.
