A 6-year-old boy was flown out of Madera Canyon around noon today after falling 10 to 12 feet while climbing on rocks on the Super Trail, according to a Green Valley Fire District spokesman. The boy and his mother met firefighters in the parking lot and he was taken to Banner University Medical Center because he suffered a head injury, said L.T. Pratt, community outreach coordinator for GVFD. The boy, whose hometown is unknown, was conscious as he was loaded into the helicopter but his current condition is unknown, he said.
