Northwest Fire Chief retires after 41 years of service

Northwest Fire celebrated the retirement of their Chief Michael J. Brandt with a big farewell, at Station 336 Friday morning. Chief Michael J. Brandt has provided fire services for 41 years. More than two hundred people attended the ceremony, including current and past employees, representatives from law and fire agencies, business community members, and local and state representatives. Chief Bradley began his career with Northwest Fire in 1999. Chief Bradley is the third fire chief to be sworn into Northwest Fire District since it was formed in 1984 and the first to be a recruited firefighter who was promoted through the ranks to get to the position of Fire Chief.
