Forest Service personnel are at the scene of a brush fire along Redington Road on Thursday, July 5. According to Heidi Schewel of the Coronado National Forest Service, the fire has burned about 60 acres of grass on land within the Coronado National Forest and appears to be human caused. The Forest Service says no structures are threatened by the fire. Two helicopters, three engines, one water tender and two hand crews have been dispatched to the scene. Redington Road is now closed from milepost 5, onward.
