A house fire on Thursday afternoon displaces a family of three and sends a firefighter to the hospital, according to the Tucson Fire Department. TFD responded to the scene of a house fire in the 900 block of West Pennsylvania Street around 4 p.m. to find the structure in flames. Firefighters were only able to fight the flames from the outside, due to the intensity of the fire. It took 25 TFD firefighters 17 minutes after arriving at the scene, to have the fire under control. According to TFD, the family was not at home at the time of the fire, but have been displaced. They will be staying with family and did not require assistance from the Red Cross. One firefighter was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, according to TFD, there were no other injuries reported.
