VIDEO: A Glendale man came to the rescue and helped people get out of a house that was on fire Sunday evening in the west Valley. A first-alarm house fire broke out near 51st Avenue and Cactus Road sometime after 5:30 p.m. There were still three people inside the house while the flames were burning. The garage was on fire before the rest of the house went ablaze, but one man had a hard time getting out. Another man who lives nearby heard the commotion from around the corner and ran over to help. "Some kid was in there, he said they were in the back. Some other guy was in there trying to help him out and he was on oxygen. So we were able to get him, get his oxygen tank and we got him out the back door and we were able to hop over the fence," said Dave Tuck.
