Sun City Fire and Medical Department personnel are less than one month from seeing their new home completed and about two months away from occupation. Construction workers, supervised by general contractor CORE Construction, are working on a variety of tasks, including electrical installation, finishing walls, painting, installing drainage in the main bays, pouring concrete and others. The front driveway and a smaller area in back of the building is expected to be poured this week, according to Jim Fox, Sun City fire marshal, who has been overseeing the work for the department.
