VIDEO: A family-owned business that has operated in Globe since the 1950s was destroyed Tuesday after a fire broke out in the back of the warehouse-style building. Flames swept quickly through Mid-State Pipe and Supply Company around 12:15 p.m., according to Tri-City Fire Chief Nick Renon. The roof of the metal structure eventually collapsed amid the intense fire, he said. "Today was a normal day until somebody ran into my office and said, 'Get out quick! There's a fire!' So we left," said company president Carmen Corso. Corso said the four employees who were inside at the time all made it out safely.
