VIDEO: A man is hospitalized with a leg fracture after falling 20 feet into a lift station for water treatment in Peoria. Around 10 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to the area of El Mirage Road and Lone Mountain Parkway after receiving reports of a man that fell 20 feet into a two-foot-by-three-foot area. The man, who is in his 40s, was responsive when fire crews arrived on scene and extricated him from the life station. According to a fire spokesperson, the man was working on a build-out of the system when he fell. Multiple crews assisted in the rescue including Peoria, Phoenix, Glendale and Surprise.
