The Bullhead City Fire District’s bond committee is taking a firm shape. In its first meeting since the fire district’s governing board voted last month to create it, the panel chose Paul Bull as its chairman and Heather Brennan as vice chairwoman. The fire board voted to name a slate of eight citizens to the advisory committee, with the understanding that seven would be regular members and the eighth would be an alternate. John Tesar was named alternate on Tuesday. Assistant fire chiefs Scott Neal and Patrick Moore described a little of the setup for bond committee members and others in attendance. Neal said that three subcommittees within the fire department — labeled “facilities,” “equipment” and “apparatus” — will bring projects before the committee, which would review them and make recommendations to the fire board.
