VIDEO: It was show and tell at the Tucson Convention Center in downtown Tucson, for the Tucson Delivers program. This program came from the half cent sales tax that voters approved last year. Mayor Jonathan Rothschild says, this tax will generate $250 million over a 5-year period, allowing the city to improve roads as well as provide improvements to public safety vehicles, facilities and equipment. On display Wednesday afternoon were four of the new Tucson Police Department patrol SUVs, as well as a jail transport vehicle, body cameras, tasers and bulletproof vests.
